JF TAIKO Drumming is a place where the volume of practice sessions can be quite astonishing. Therefore, soundproofing was given significant consideration during the initial planning phase, with the entire space undergoing professional treatment.
Two Blue Whale 180 Series professional soundproof doors were installed, one on the inside and one on the outside. When these doors are closed, the decibel level of the practice sessions, which was initially measured to be around 105 decibels, is reduced to approximately 58 decibels.
