This project involves a household Buddhist altar where incense is burned during religious ceremonies. Considering the need for air circulation during worship, the design specifically incorporates a door within a door concept. Additionally, to prevent potential disturbances to neighbors during chanting sessions, the homeowner requested a door with soundproofing capabilities.
The homeowner had inquired with several door manufacturers, who informed them that using a screen window in the door within a door design would not provide soundproofing. However, their search led them to discover Blue Whale’s soundproof doors, which successfully combine ventilation functionality with soundproofing capabilities. When the small door is closed, it features a tight seal design to block out sound. When opened, it allows clear visibility of visitors while maintaining proper airflow.
