Living in a high-rise building in Taipei, where the distance between units is particularly close, including the common area near the elevator, typically only about one ping (approximately 3.3 square meters). The homeowner has a highly sensitive Doberman Pinscher that starts barking at a high volume as soon as it hears the sound of the elevator doors opening. This has led to several complaints from neighbors.
Therefore, the homeowner sought Blue Whale’s assistance in improving the sound insulation issue by adding an additional glass soundproof door outside the entrance. The installation process is simple and non-intrusive, without the need for knocking or damaging the walls. When someone visits, the inner door can be opened, and the visitor can be seen through the glass door, along with the added benefit of double sound insulation.
During the photo shoot on that day, we also witnessed the dog’s high-pitched barking. However, when both doors were closed, standing outside, it was almost inaudible. It’s no wonder the homeowner said that they are no longer afraid of the dog’s barking.
