The homeowner, before moving into their new residence, commissioned Blue Whale to plan and execute a comprehensive soundproofing project for the entire floor. Through the soundproofing project, they aimed to effectively address issues such as noise transmission through shared walls, disruptive music from nearby commercial establishments, home audiovisual rooms, and music practice rooms.
In addition to the floor, walls, and ceilings, all bedrooms were equipped with Blue Whale’s 180-type professional soundproof doors. These doors were installed using professional techniques and customized services, achieving a laboratory-tested Sound Transmission Class (STC) rating of 53 decibels. Each bedroom featured a unique selection of materials, carefully coordinated with the interior design, to create an artistic and stylish home environment.
The study was designed with ample natural light and a soundproof 180-type glass door. The door was constructed with a steel frame and soundproofing materials, offering significantly better performance compared to conventional aluminum frames. Aluminum frames, due to their fixed spacing, are more prone to sound leakage. Blue Whale’s soundproofing team provided professional planning, selecting the appropriate glass thickness and employing a steel frame design without a center pillar, ensuring both acoustic insulation and aesthetic appeal. This approach is suitable for creating comfortable and quiet indoor environments, whether for office spaces or personalized settings.
By addressing indoor soundproofing before moving in, the homeowner has eliminated future noise-related issues, ensuring a peaceful and comfortable living environment for themselves and their family.
