Cross-disciplinary Art Collaboration | Let Architecture Exude Extraordinary Charm

🔹 1998|「H3 Cloud」x Chen Wei Long
Collaborating with Taiwanese etching artist Chen Wei Long, the “H3 Cloud” double-leaf door is created.
Combining handcrafted etching, each door takes 30 days of meticulous carving, with thousands of layers of clouds stacked upon each other.
It presents the swirling sea of clouds and the upward vitality, with each cloud pattern being unique and non-repeating.

🔹 2006|「H4 Siena Copper Sculpture」

Siena — a beautiful ancient hill town in Italy, built on a hillside and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1995.

Every year in July and August, a horse racing festival is held in the town square, which is a major local event. The architecture blends medieval and Renaissance styles, with well-preserved old buildings serving as a testament to the town’s long history.

The annual horse racing event has continued for centuries. Inspired by the racetrack, the Blue Whale team designed the piece using 99.9% pure copper sculpture plates to showcase the classical elegance of the medieval era. The curved lines and horseshoe patterns recreate the thrilling competition, presenting an extraordinary taste with grandeur.

🔹 2009|「H4 Florence」x Wu Zuo Chang
The artist combines European classical oil painting techniques with door panel design.
An oil painting from the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore in Italy is embedded in the door panel, highlighting the owner’s taste.

🔹 2012|「H3 Lake Wave」x Winner of Golden Pin Design Award

Inspired by New Taipei’s Swallow Lake, the surface of the lake reflects layered ripples in the autumn breeze, presenting the beauty of flowing water and life. This design brings Taiwan’s scenic beauty to the world, giving the door a unique local cultural value.

A young boy’s dream
On a pure night, gazing at the vast starry sky through a banana tree, he planted the seed of longing for the future in his heart, and all the beauty began to unfold from here…
As the main character of a building, it must be timeless, steady, durable, and weather-resistant. Just like a cherished heirloom, it remains enduring and never fades.

🔹 2014|「H3 Ocean Wave」

The waves roll one after another, presenting the beauty of rising and falling, while feeling the tranquility and comfort of the ocean.

Ocean Wave stands still, as if seeing the shimmering reflections on the water. When sunlight shines on the sea surface, it scatters like countless pieces of gold, sparkling and captivating.

A beautiful landscape naturally resonates with the home, without the need for forced effort or strenuous creation. Artistic living, accompanied by aesthetics.

The Blue Whale design team, in collaboration with the renowned domestic creative agency – JuSi Creative Design, co-created this work.

🔹 2016|「H3 Lake Reflection, H3 Raw Form」x Solid Wood Craftsmanship

Combining over 70 years of Burmese teak with door panels, and collaborating with wood carving craftsmen,
Breaking through the challenges of humid climates on solid wood, allowing high-end teak doors to become timeless heirlooms.

🔹 2017|「H4 Lake Garden」x Rare Materials

Introducing titanium gold for the first time, combined with 70-year-old Burmese teak to create “H4 Lake Garden.”

The fusion of metal and wood is meticulously crafted, modern and elegant.
Burmese teak has a rich, durable color, with each naturally formed grain pattern being unique and one-of-a-kind.

🔹 2019|「Mykonos」Exclusive Women’s Collection

The Blue Whale design team traveled to Greece for inspiration, using blue as the base color, blending the charm of the Aegean Sea.
They created three door designs: “Sky Blue,” “Deep Sea Blue,” and “Mist Blue,” allowing the warmth of the home to coexist with the strength of steel.

🔹 2022|「H4 New Lake Garden」

The surface of the door is handcrafted with luxury sports car interior leather, meticulously sculpted and crafted. It has been praised by sports car collectors as a classic craftsmanship in the world of doors.

🔹 2023|「Star Diamond Series」x Emerging Sculptor Jonny Chen

The artist uses titanium gold for hand engraving to create the Star Diamond Series, inspired by “the light of stars, like diamonds in the sky.”
Each door piece comes with a unique serial number, the artist’s signature, and a certificate of authenticity, making it highly collectible.

🔹 2023 |「Blue Whale | Chang Yu」

Blue Whale collaborates with the National History Museum to transform the works of legendary artist Chang Yu into artistic door pieces for halls and corridors.
These doors are no longer just functional elements, but rather an art gallery in themselves.

After three years of research and development, countless sketches, and meticulous carving,
we interpret aesthetics with the utmost rigor, creating an exceptional masterpiece that combines both art and craftsmanship.
